Field notes

A block kit is the cheapest honest way to get a boat on a car. Dense foam blocks cradle the hull, cam straps run through the doors, and bow and stern lines finish the job. The Riverside® Deluxe and Universal canoe kits and the Sherpak™ Deluxe kits include everything except the boat.

Replacement blocks and straps are stocked separately, so a kit you bought years ago is still repairable.
